For organizations that need to comply with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), PeopleFluent iPaaS now provides users the ability to configure a privacy notice. When this option is enabled in the iPaaS Customer Administration Console and a privacy notice has been activated, users will be presented with the notice upon logging in. The first time an iPaaS-enabled client accesses their PeopleFluent application through the iPaaS domain, the Privacy Notice page appears.
There are two workflows that can be used: Acknowledge or Accept/Decline. When acknowledging a privacy notice, the user must click the Acknowledge button to log in. For the Accept/Decline workflow, the user must click the Accept button to log in. If the user clicks Decline, they are returned to the logout page and can only log in if they click Accept.
Within User Settings, users can review the privacy notice they either accepted or acknowledge. On the iPaaS Navigation Button, click Users Settings and then navigate to the Privacy Notice tab.
On the Privacy Notice tab, users can do the following:
Print a copy of the privacy notice by clicking the Print button.
Click How to Remove Account to view instructions on how to remove their user data. Removing personal data is a manual process; customer administrators must contact their PeopleFluent representative to do the removal. These instructions are intended to inform users who to contact in your organization if they want their personal data removed from the system.
Click Withdraw Consent to withdraw acceptance of the privacy notice. Once the user clicks this button they are logged out of the system and will have to accept the privacy notice again to log in. For users in the Acknowledge workflow, only the How to Remove Account link is available on the privacy notice.
